When I was about 13, I played lots of basketball.
While on a family vacation on a very hot sunny day, I found a basketball court where a bunch of kids were playing.
I know it was the early 90’s because I was wearing a USA basketball jersey that was a replica of what the Dream Team wore in the 1992 Olympics.
On my way out the door My mom yelled "Make sure you wear sun block!"
Like the dumb kid I was, I didn’t listen.
I played for hours in my tank top not thinking anything of it.
I showed up home and my mom screamed.
I was a lobster.
I got so burned that I got sick that night and was in terrible pain for many days, it was awful.
I had no protection.
I could of used some sunblock with some serious SPF that day.
I have conversations with struggling gym owners on a daily basis.
I’ve come to conclusion that their biggest source of their struggle is burnout.
Their businesses are so complex only they know what’s going on and everyone else is in the dark.
They price themselves so low that even with a hundred members they barely make any money.
They never learn skills like leadership or hiring. So, they’re working all time and start to hate a career they once loved.
Gym owners are getting fried but it does have to be this way.
I’ve created a concept called SPF. This will serve as massive protection against burnout. It will give you a prosperous career in the fitness industry.
SPF stands for Simple, Profitable and Fun.
SPF give you control.
SPF gives you money.
SPF gives you freedom.
Think how great life as a gym owner would be if your business was protected by SPF.
