Many people have asked me lately how I am putting out so much content.
I have written 2 books and pretty much written an email a day.
I built out several new presentations, recorded about 50 podcasts, and held 4 Mastermind events - just in the last year.
All of these require me to provide a boatload of content.
Here’s my 2 secrets to getting so much content out there to my audience.
#1 - Learn Everyday
I shoot to learn for a minimum of one hour per day. This may include reading books, articles, listening to podcasts, watching videos, etc.
When I am learning, I’m thinking about how I can apply this to my personal and or business life.
I really do not passively learn, many times I will suddenly stop learning after 5 minutes because I get to something that hits me.
When this happens, I start taking action as to how it applies to my life.
An example here is you come across a video that is teaching you about a great new way to cue an exercise you use often.
It hits you as a no brainer to start using this cue.
The way to apply this immediately could be to write it down and teach to your trainers at your next team meeting.
#2 - Everything that happens to me or around me is connected to a core principle.
Whenever I go to a store, the dentist, the airport, another seminar, etc., I am constantly evaluating the experience and looking to make connections for gym owners to help them learn.
Here’s an example:
I recently told my Mastermind about a story of awful customer service I saw in Colorado.
It led to me teach them about the 5 steps to handling a customer complaint.
Think about what you experience in your life and make the connection for your target market about health and fitness.
You’re swimming in a sea of content every day. You just have to make the connections as it relates to your audience and then teach it to them.
When you think this way, you’ll never run out.
